Edit your DPP

How to edit the layout and content of your Digital Product Passport (DPP)

When someone scans the QR code on your product, they see your Digital Product Passport (DPP). You decide how it looks and which information it shows. The supply chain data behind it comes from your suppliers, verified at source, so you choose what to display and how, not what the data says.

Open your DPP settings

  1. Click Settings in the left menu.

  2. Open the Brand page.

  3. In the DPP settings column, click DPP settings.

A window opens with a live preview of your passport on the left and all your settings on the right.

The preview shows example data. It gives you a feel for the layout, not the real passport of a product.

Choose what your passport shows

Each section has a Yes/No switch. Switch it on to show the section on your passport, off to hide it.

Setting

What it does

Care

Shows care information for the product.

Impact

Shows impact information. Choose whether it is Calculated by Climatiq or Added by Brand.

Circularity

Shows your circularity information.

Journey

Shows the journey of the product through the supply chain. You choose how many tiers to show (see below).

Sustainable Material Score

Shows the score bar on your passport.

Brand Data

Shows your own brand information.

Mask Producer

Hides the names of the producers on your passport (see below).

Choose how much of the journey to show

When Journey is on, pick one of four options:

  • Show All

  • Show Tier 1, 2 and 3

  • Show Tier 1 and 2

  • Show Tier 1 (Product Supplier)

Mask Producer: stealth mode for your suppliers

Switch on Mask Producer when you want your passport to tell the story of the product without naming the producers behind it. It works like a stealth mode: the journey and the proof stay in place, and the names of the producers are hidden.

Set your colors

Make the passport look like your brand.

  • Header Background Color: enter a hex code, for example #000000.

  • Buttons Accent Color: enter a hex code, for example #0096be.

Want to start again? Click Reset to AWARE theme to go back to the default look.

Save your changes

Click Save when you are happy with the preview.

Good to know

  • Settings are per sub-brand. If you work with sub-brands, each one has its own DPP settings. Open the settings of the sub-brand you want to change. See Sub-brands.

  • If your DPP design changes, be aware of the fact that it will only be applied to newly sent POs. POs sent before the change will remain live, but with the old design.
