Why you need connections
Before you can send or receive tokens, you need to connect with:
Suppliers (fabric mills, yarn spinners, trim suppliers who send you material tokens)
Brands (customers you manufacture for, who receive your product tokens)
Add connections as soon as your KYB is approved.
How to find your connections?
Go to: Settings > Relations
Click "Add Relations"
Use the search box to find companies already on Aware™.
Search tips:
Try the company's full legal name
Try abbreviations or common names
Search in English
Found them? Click to send a connection request.
Can't find them? They're not on Aware™ yet. Click "Invite".
Invite new connections
If your supplier or brand customer isn't on Aware™ yet, you can invite them.
Click "Invite Relations"
Enter their:
Company name
Contact person's name
Email address
They'll receive an invitation to join Aware™ and connect with you.
Why invite suppliers and brands:
You need supplier tokens to create complete product tokens (full traceability)
Brands need your product tokens for compliance and transparency
Who should you add first?
Start with:
Your top 3-5 suppliers (the ones you buy the most materials from)
Your main brand customers (the ones asking for traceability)
You can add more connections anytime. Start small.
What happens after you connect?
If they're already on Aware™:
They'll receive a connection request. Once they accept, you can exchange tokens.
If you invited them:
They'll get an email explaining Aware™ and how to sign up. Once they join and accept your connection, you're linked.
Connection requests pending?
Follow up with a quick message: "I sent you an Aware™ connection request - can you accept it so we can share traceability data?"
