What is a connection?

A connection is a link between your account and another party you work with on AWARE™, typically your supplier. Only product producers, the tier that makes the finished product, can connect directly to a product owner. That link is what lets you exchange tokens and verified data with each other.

How do I add a connection?

You send an invite by searching for the company's name on the platform, or by entering their AWARE™ ID directly if you have it.

What if my customer or supplier isn't on AWARE™ yet?

You can invite them by email, directly from the platform. But to actually connect and exchange data with them, they need to become a member first, you can't do anything with them until they are.

Do invited people have to pay?

Being invited is free. The AWARE™ membership fee only applies once someone activates their own account to become a full member.

Can I have unlimited connections?

Yes. There's no cap, and that's by design, the more of your supply chain that's connected, the more valuable your own verified history becomes, at no extra cost to you.

Do our sub-contractors need their own account too?

If you want their production step included in the proof chain, yes. Each one adds their own verified step, that's what makes the chain trustworthy rather than something you report on their behalf.

Will AWARE™ actually help us reach new buyers, or is this a compliance tool only?

AWARE™'s job is to make you provably ready the moment a buyer asks, that's the door it opens. We don't place orders or introduce you to product owners directly, but sourcing is shifting from "what's your price" to "can you prove what you did," and producers who can answer that instantly are the ones buyers keep. Being visible and connected in a growing verified network is real value, we just won't promise a specific new buyer.

If we tell a buyer we're on AWARE™, are we automatically entitled to any financial benefit from them?

No, AWARE™ doesn't create or guarantee any financial arrangement between you and your buyer. What it gives you is proof you can put in front of them instantly instead of scrambling, what you negotiate with that proof is between you and them.

Which of our competitors or peers are already using AWARE™?

AWARE™ members are located all around the world, for now we don't share specific names.

Is there a co-branding arrangement, does AWARE™'s name appear alongside the product owner's on our documentation?

How do I remove a connection?

Go to your account, go to your connections, and click remove.
