In platform email updates

With the introduction of featurebase, new workflows, and benefits for producers the current email communication the platform sends out feels outdated and incomplete. We should update the emails to be more inline with our brand voice and more relevant to our actual workflows. The existing email templates are linked here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mA7_at1jjDxtc8h2kdDA4JWflbbcQaIToZIANU3KNp0/edit?pli=1&tab=t.0 We should: Propose updates and re-writes to all emails (we shouldn’t skip any) Identify if any can be removed - and if so whether they need to be replaced Identify if we want to add new emails @Stephanie van Dee and @Olivia de Seze should have the final say @Rhys Davies will give the final thing to the developers to implement Set up a monthly 30 minute check-in to see if anything needs iterating over.

Recycler roles and partnerships

Introduce "Recycler" as a distinct user type with capabilities to receive post-consumer material composition data, match waste to producer requirements, document recycling processes, and connect recycled materials back to the producer network. Launch with 2-3 pilot recycler partners (textile waste processors, mechanical recyclers, or chemical recyclers). Why it matters: This is the first step to close the loop. Currently Aware™ traces source → brand. Recyclers cover the last part of the circle: waste → recycled input → producer. We’ll think about the consumer step later. Impact: Enable verifiable post-consumer recycled content claims Reduce contamination in textile recycling through accurate composition data Create economic incentive for producers to design for recyclability Demonstrate circularity: materials return to production, not landfill

Expanded impact calculations

Extend current carbon footprint calculations to include granular Scope 1/2/3 breakdowns, land-use impact metrics (m² occupied, biodiversity), and water-use metrics (litres consumed, water stress analysis). Why it matters: Fashion brands face investor, regulator, and consumer pressure for comprehensive impact reporting. "Carbon neutral" isn't enough. EU regulations require full lifecycle impact across multiple dimensions. We already collect the information these users need. This feature is a matter of formatting and calculating. Minimal further data collection needed. Impact: Producers gain sustainability profiles Brands meet investor ESG reporting requirements Enable like-for-like comparison of circular vs virgin materials Create foundation for impact-based pricing models

Producer network directory

A searchable directory where AWARE™ member producers can discover and connect with other members. Filter by location, material type, certifications, capacity, or sustainability credentials. Why it matters: Our users ‘downstream’ in the supply chain spend months finding compliant suppliers, or ones willing to tokenise their materials. Recyclers can't identify producers who'll accept returned materials. Producers can't find circular collaboration partners to help them stand-out A network directory turns individual members into an ecosystem. Producers can differentiate through verifiable data and circular partnerships form based on data. Impact: Find compliant suppliers Enable recycler-producer partnerships for material return Create competitive advantages for high-quality producers Accelerate network effects across the platform

AWARE™ 3.0

With years of learning under our belt from real producers across supply chains, we think it is time to build AWARE™ 3.0. We're struggling to adapt our existing platform to properly meet our changing and specific user needs. So, we are going to: Complete a discovery phase, interviewing existing users and stakeholders to validate and verify our learnings and assumptions Complete a design phase to re-design the platform to not only match our updated visual identify but design the platform with the users experience in mind from the start Complete a development phase where we will use an AI native development team to make AWARE™ 3.0 a modern SaaS application that can scale to meet the traceability requirements we now see. This work has already begun. We have completed the discovery phase in collaboration with YouSir, a design agency based out of our home town of Amsterdam. We expect to share more about this work once we are further along in the design process and have more obvious results to show. Follow this ticket for updates 😊
